Likes; Jamil enjoys reading, especially history and poetry. He occasionally will go fishing or just take a walk, especially when the weather is nice. He enjoys talking with the citizens, and even the tourists. Jamil's absolute favorite thing to do is watch movies or plays, reference to the many opera houses in Cairo. 

Personality; Jamil is an overall friendly young man, very polite. He's intelligent, as his city is home to a many number of schools and education in Cairo is very important, making Cairo the center of education in Egypt. When he does get free time, Jamil enjoys spending hours at coffeehouses playing bachgammon or just telling stories with the civilians. Despite all this, Jamil will keep a quiet attitude like Egypt if need be or may come off as snarky when interrupted in the middle of reading and/or studying.

Appearance; Jamil has tousled, dark brown hair, hazel-brown eyes, and tan skin, the stereotypical look of a Mediterranean man. He stands at 5'5 1/2 and weighs about 143-145 lbs. He normally will be wearing a button up dress shirt with either black or khaki slacks, and black or brown dress shoes. He'd never be caught dead wearing shorts in public and normally wears shirts with sleeves  as long as the wrist, as short as the elbows. He wears a faux-gold watch a majority of the time.

Extra/Trivia;

-Jamil has a burn on his lower back from the Cairo Fire, a.k.a, Black Saturday. His eyesight was also affected in the fires, which is why he wears glasses.

-Jamil has to stop and cough every-so-often because of Cairo's pollution level's being one of the highest in the world. In human au, he does have mild asthma.

-in human au, Jamil is also prone to catching viruses, specifically strep throat, reference to Egypt being plagued by many viral and bacterial infections.

-a majority of the books Jamil owns are on Ancient Egyptian history, religion, and politics, given to him by Egypt himself.

-Jamil has never once dated anyone, mainly because he was either dubbed 'too young' by Egypt or for the fact that he is Muslim, it's not a normal practice to go on one-on-one dates. He may come off as a bit romantically naive at times.
